Clandestine Drugs

Provides detailed analytical analysis to customers to identify the composition of seized illicit drugs at a crime scene. The analysis of source chemicals and finished products are then returned to consumer.

Trace Evidence

Lab provides detailed analysis of fibers & hair utilizing CRAIC machines. This technology allows our scientists to detect the mean absorbance or transmission given off by a specific fiber, which can then be compared to another fiber.

Impression Examination

This examination covers tire tracks, footprints, etc. Impressions are first photographed and then replicated using a mold of the imprint. Our scientists then analyze this mold to attempt to identify individual characteristics about the specific impression.

Toxicology (Blood, Breath & Urine Analysis)

Analyzes samples of taken from individuals suspected of DUI (driving under the influence) and in non-driving cases by special request.

Firearms & Toolmarks

When a gun is fired, specific unique impressions and striations are left on a bullet and/or cartridge case. Similarly, a tool also leaves unique markings which can identify a specific tool. When conducting this analysis, our scientists focus on comparing individual and class characteristics in order to come to a conclusion.

Latent Prints

A latent print consists of an impression from the oils of skin transferred to another object. Because each fingerprint is specific to an individual, we are able to analyze the arrangement of fingerprint patterns to conclude if an individual left their prints at a crime scene.
